Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is still waiting to talk face-to-face with two suspects in the Glade Springs, Daniels, Shady Spring, Stanaford, Prosperity and Oak Hill break-ins, said Sheriff Steve Tanner.
Tanner said his office has talked with some “people of great interest” via telephone and they have agreed to come in but had not as of Monday afternoon.
Right now the deputies are focusing on recovering stolen items and they hope to work with the suspects to continue the recovery processes; however, if these individuals do not come to the sheriff’s office, Tanner said warrants will be issued for their arrests.
Tanner said at least one individual has been arrested for allegedly pawning and selling the stolen goods and police suspect the burglaries themselves were committed by separate individuals.
He added that although burglaries are still occurring in Raleigh County, none of them have the same M.O. as this ring.
