A Raleigh County man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, according to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
Randy Lee Pettry II died after he apparently lost control of the Chevrolet Blazer he was driving and was thrown from the vehicle, according to a department press release.
Pettry was traveling on W.Va. 3 at Pine Branch Road near Glen Daniel about 2:30 a.m. Monday when the Blazer allegedly struck a ditch and flipped several times across the highway. He was ejected from the vehicle, police said.
The accident remains under investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
