Raleigh County Circuit Judge Robert Burnside issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old David Hurt after the Beckley man failed to appear for a probation revocation hearing Thursday.
In August 2007, Hurt, whose last known address was the Green Bank Motel, received a one-to-five-year suspended sentence with 18 months’ probation as a result of a guilty plea to delivery of marijuana.
Prosecutor Larry Frail said Hurt had not paid court-ordered restitution and court fees and had failed to stay in touch with his probation officer.
