One person was taken to a hospital after a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 19 in Fayette County, police said.
Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle pulled onto U.S. 19 from W.Va. 612, Sheriff Bill Laird said. The driver then struck a southbound vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle that pulled from Route 612 was injured, Laird said. U.S. 19 traffic was blocked, but for only an estimated five minutes.
Deputy Keith McGraw handled the accident, and the Oak Hill Fire Department assisted at the scene, Laird said.
No further information was available Tuesday evening.
