Its Thanks ... giving

Thanksgiving Day.

Today, as we gather together with family and friends to celebrate an American tradition, let us all pause for just a moment to reflect on the many blessings we have been afforded.

There is plenty to be thankful for:

- Thankful for the food on the table.

- Thankful for loved ones and the time being shared.

- Thankful for our freedoms and for those brave souls in harms way who fight to protect our country and others.

- Thankful for the many who have reached out to those less fortunate to make sure they will have a good meal to partake of and a warm shelter to sleep in.

As your day progresses, try to think about everything that is good in life.

If our attitudes were dominated by the positives rather than the negatives, it would surely be a better place for us all, no matter where you come from or where you live.

So take the time to today to give thanks, be truly thankful and do your part in committing random acts of kindness.

Its Thanks ... giving.
