News late last week that Mountain State University had named its Health Sciences Center after the late Patsy Haslam is fitting for a lady who made it her professional mission over the last two decades to build a quality allied health services curriculum at the Beckley institution of higher learning.
But for those who knew her, it was just who Patsy was, professionally and personally. She was always there to provide a helping, nurturing, loving hand.
There are many stories that can be told about Mrs. Haslam but suffice it to say she was one of God’s little helpers during her time here on earth and we’re certain she’s doing the same in her place in heaven.
Patsy Haslam is missed but she left a warm legacy of caring and goodwill.
