Bonnie Lou McMillion, 57, of Arnett, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at her residence following a long illness.

Daisy Lee Butler Moore
Daisy Lee Butler Moore, our most precious mother died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the age of 93, in the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
She was born January 23, 1920, in a log cabin on Muddlety Creek to Rev. John Frank and Martha Adaline Taylor Butler. Her grandparents were William Thomas and Mary Ellen Grimes Butler.Her grandfather was born in Enrico County, Va., and was a member of the Confederate States Army during the Civil War, serving with Stonewall Jackson and with Robert E. Lee when he surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox.
Daisy was also preceded in death by her husband Lawson Moore, four sons, Jerry, Irvin, Stephen and Trennie, two sisters, Delphia Taylor and Mary Lewis and seven brothers, Ed, Nelson, George, James, Jay, Homer and Ralph.
Surviving are five daughters, Mary Vaughan of Bradley, Carolyn Meek of Catawba, Va., Bonnie Thomas of Fayetteville, Sharon Frazee of Fenwick, and Molly Cannady of Beckley; five sons, Colin and Daniel, both of Cleveland, Texas, Donald of Summersville, Jeff of Lexington, N.C., Thomas Moore of Germany; two brothers, Jerry Allen Butler, and Thomas Wetzel Butler, both of Ohio; 29 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville, with Brother Arlis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Dotson-Simpson Cemetery at Keslers Cross Lanes.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
