Emma Mae McBride
Emma Mae McBride, age 73, of Coal City, passed away at the Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
Born on April 3, 1940 in Fireco, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Farley and Winnie Bolen Farley.
Mrs. McBride was a homemaker, and attended Cales Pentecostal Church at Coal City. She had made her home at Coal City for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby McBride, brothers, Clinton, Eugene, Denny, Walter, Thomas, and Gene Autry Farley, Raymond Hall and Jennings Hall, sisters, Elizabeth Bolen, Betty Lou Worley, Garnet and Marie Jennings and Mary Bolen.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Linda Bay and her husband Richard of Princeton, W.Va., Sandra Ewing and her husband Sam of Coal City, Allen McBride and his wife Katy of Daniels; a granddaughter, Tabitha Cochran of Coal City, and a grandson, Henry Allen Lee Cochran and his wife Kendrea of Stephenson. A brother, Junior Farley of Sullivan, and a sister Nellie Mullens and her husband Covey of Beaver. A special caregiver, Geraldine Anderson of East Gulf and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Mr. Richard Bay officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of the service time on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Henry Allen Lee Cochran, Sam Ewing, Larry Lilly, Lloyd Duncan, Kenny Gowman, and Chris Gowman.

Edward Lee ‘Eddie’ Miller
SCARBRO — Edward Lee “Eddie” Miller, 50, of Scarbro, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Born December 13, 1962, in Beckley, he was the son of the late Clarence and Betty McCoy Miller.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lee Canaday Miller; son, Allen Humphrey of Fayetteville, W.Va.; daughter, Lora Lee Miller of Charleston, W.Va.; three brothers, Jimmy W. Miller of Scarbro, Kenneth R. Miller of Fayetteville, John A Miller of Mt. Olive, W.Va.; three sisters, Dreama Miller of Scarbro, Anna Masters of Lochgelly, W.Va. and Carol Miller of Oak Hill.
Memorial service will be at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 4 p.m. with Pastor Alan Ledford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday.
