David ‘Dave’ Wayne O’Dell
VICTOR — David “Dave” Wayne O’Dell, 53, of Victor, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in Beckley, following a long illness.
David was born February 24, 1960, in Richwood; he was the son of Bradley W. O’Dell of Greenville, S.C., and Garylee O’Dell of Leivasy.
He was a member of the Summersville Masonic Lodge # 76 and the Beni Kedem Temple in Charleston; he was a heavy equipment operator for the strip mine industry and an 18-year member of the UMWA.
Dave’s survivors are his wife, Jill S. Crosier O’Dell of Victor; his parents, Garylee and Gordon O’Dell of Leivasy and Bradley and Barbara O’Dell of Greenville, S.C.; sons, Robert O’Dell of Cannelton and Joshua O’Dell of Summersville; a sister, Debra Robinson of Summersville; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Ansted with Preacher Jack Eades and Rev. Bradley Boyce officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Victor.
Friends may call Saturday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Lee F. Tucker
Lee F. Tucker, 88, formerly of Crossville, Tenn., and Stickney, and was recently residing with his son and daughter-in-law Terry and Ruth Tucker of Rock Creek, went home to be with the Lord and his loving wife of 65 years Edith Tucker and daughter Darlene Tucker on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, with his family at his side.
He was born Jan. 25, 1925, at White Cliffy, Tenn., a son of the late Henry Tucker and Oma Lee Owensly.
He was a member of the Stickney Community Church, Stickney. He was a World War II Veteran with the 101st Airborne Division where he was a Purple Heart Recipient.
He was a retired miner, member of the UMWA Local Union 6608 of Montcoal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith, a daughter, Darlene Tucker, brothers, Johnny Tucker and Ronald Tucker, and sisters, Shirley Romeo, Heneritta Rice, Christine Washburn and Wilma Lang.
He is survived by two sons, Terry (Ruth) Tucker of Rock Creek, Marty (Tammy) Tucker of Beckley; sister Pauline Bolen of Tenn.; brother-in-law, Donis Reed of NC; sisters-in-law, Margaret (Dave) Clay of Shady Spring, Elizabeth Erwin of North Carolina, Janie Reed of Glen Daniel and Janet Gunnoe of North Carolina; grandchildren, Julie Tolliver, Lisa Smith, Kelli Tolliver, Amanda (George) Hill, Jeff (Brandi) Tucker, Tonya (Nathan) Williams, Stephanie (Chris) Hartsell, Justin (Rachel) Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jordan Owens, Josh Griffy, Tristin Dickerson, Jayden Tolliver, Kelsie Hill, Carleigh Tucker, Logan, Dalton and Easton Williams and Emily Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at the Pineview Cemetery at Orgas, with Pastor Jerry Brown officiating. Singers will be John and Linda Hapney. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
