Betty Frances Mann Ward
JASPER, Ga. — Betty Frances Mann Ward, 86, of Jasper, Georgia, formerly of Hinton, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Friday, September 20, 2013, in Jasper, Georgia.
She was born to the late Oran and Gladys Coleman Mann in Hinton on May 30, 1927.
Betty resided in Hinton for most of her life and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She baked cakes for everyone in the community. Betty retired as a teacher’s aide from the Summers County School system, where she was loved by many children. She later moved to Jasper, Georgia, to live with her granddaughter, Cindy Angle Daniel.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Linda McClure and Sandra Gwin and husband Thomas, both of Jasper, Georgia. Grandchildren, Eric Bartfai and wife Tammy of Cedar Bluff, VA, Cindy Angle Daniel and husband Hal with whom she made her home, Jason Angle and wife Carrie of Jasper, GA, and Marion and John McClure, both of Florida. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ronald Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg, WV. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Angle, Hal Daniel, Matthew Chambers, Andrew Brown, Eric Bartfai and Mike Atkins.

Jonathan Edward White Jr.
Jonathan Edward White Jr. was called home Saturday, September 14, 2013, following a sudden illness.
He was born March 8, 1969, in Frankfurt, West Germany, and was preceded in the passing of his beloved mother Delores Ann White, grandparents Jack and Betty Bolen and Hansel and Sophie White.
Jon was a loving husband to his high school sweetheart Rachel for 26 years and was a devoted father to his daughter Ashley. Being one who dearly loved the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, enjoyed 4-wheeling with his friends and found his passion as a master Window Tinter. With pride, Jon served in the U.S. Army.
Those left behind to cherish and carry on his memory are his loving wife Rachel Faye White, a loving daughter Ashley Ann White, his father Jonathan Edward White Sr., a brother Joseph Heath White and numerous family and friends. Jon will be forever loved by all and sadly missed.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Ray Bowman officiating. Friends and family may visit with the immediate family at exactly 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
