CRAIGSVILLE — Frank Urbas, 92, of Craigsville, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August, 23, 2013, in the Grace Baptist Church at Persinger with Pastor Bill Hutchinson officiating. Entombment will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.
Friends may call the White Funeral home at Craigsville on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Maggie Cascio Vargo
Maggie Cascio Vargo, 86, of Stanaford, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at The Villages of Greystone, in Beaver.
Born March 27, 1927, at Kilsyth, the daughter of the late Guiseppi Cascio and Carmela Eniti Cascio.
Maggie was a member of the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church at Stanaford.
Maggie was named Postmaster in 1972 at the Stanaford Post Office. She was the first woman in her community to serve in that position. She first joined the Stanaford Post Office staff when sending a post card cost three cents and people went to the coal company store for their mail. She retired after 40 years as both clerk and Postmaster at the Stanaford Post Office.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Vargo; sister Marie Cascio; brother Charles Cascio; brother-in-law John Kosco; and niece Linda Carol Cascio.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sisters Annie Cascio of Beckley, Josephine Cascio Kosco and companion Merton Trombly of Trenton, N.J., and JoAnn Cascio Dow and husband Dana of Braselton, Ga. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Her remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel where the funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday with Pastor George Wood officiating and where the family will receive friends from noon until time of service. She will be cremated and interred in High Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church, Post Office Box 294, Stanaford WV 25927 (include “In Memory of Maggie Cascio Vargo” on your check or money order).
