Nola M. Treadway
FAYETTEVILLE — Nola M. Treadway, 97, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on the beautiful morning of Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Fayette Continuous Care in Fayetteville.
Born on November 27, 1915, at Page, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lilly Mae Cornett Caudill.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George “Buddy” Treadway; grandson, Kenneth Treadway Jr.; stepgrandson, Mathew Mayfield; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Treadway attended Fayetteville Christ Fellowship. She was a retired greeter for Walmart, Fayetteville.
Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Kenneth Treadway and his wife, Betty, of Akron, Ohio, and Donald Treadway and his wife, Judy, of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Don W. Treadway, Bryan Treadway and Aaron Treadway; stepgrandchildren, Beth Hall, Mack Mayfield, Michael Mayfield, Timmy Treadway and Teresa Pulvermacher; also many loving great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Morey officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Isaac Byron Vance
NEW RICHMOND — Isaac Byron “Billings” Vance, 30, of New Richmond, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
Born November 14, 1982, in Princeton, he was the son of James and Ersie Goode Frost.
Isaac enjoyed riding 4wheelers and spending time with his son.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Isaac Layton Goode; grandmother, Charlene Billings; and stepdad, Paul Wade.
Survivors include his parents, James and Ersie Goode Frost. His son, Isaac Ryan Vance of Pineville, who was the love of his life. Grandparents, Eddie Vance and Beulah Goode of New Richmond. Brothers, Jack Goode of Princeton, Paul Vance of New Richmond and Eric Frost of Bluefield. Sisters, Roselyn Billings and Candace Basham both of North Carolina. His aunts, who were as close as sisters, Sylvia Basham and husband, Michael, of NC and Beth Ford of Crab Orchard. A niece, Savannah Ford.
A celebration of Isaac’s life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. David Cook and Rev. Justin Farley officiating. Burial will follow at the Goode Cemetery, Cabin Creek.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
