Donald Ray Lemon

TRUE — Donald Ray Lemon, 63, of True went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born May 11, 1950, in Hinton, he was a son of the late Howard W. and Ruth Thompson Lemon.

Donnie attended the James Chapel United Methodist Church, a former equipment operator in the maintenance division for Pipestem State Park and a member of the WV Farm Bureau. He enjoyed farming, tending to his cattle and his beloved pets, and spending time with his grandson and family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 21 years, Marilyn Albert Lemon.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Howard Lemon and wife Tori; one grandson, Thomas Lemon; Close friend and brother-in-law, Ricky Albert; sister-in-law, Patricia Meadows and husband Buck all of True; two nieces, Kasi Meadows and Shannon Meadows-Gill; three great-nephews; one great-niece and many special cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. David Damewood, Pastors Robbie Merritt and Johnny Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Wynn-Houchins Cemetery at True. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to “Walk for Her Lifetime” at P.O. Box 13, Hinton, WV 25951.

CRAIGSVILLE — Jeremy Gene Lloyd, 35, of Craigsville, died March 14, 2014.

At his request he will be cremated. Services will be at a later date.

OAK HILL — James (Bert) Miller Sr., 92, of Oak Hill, died Saturday, March 15, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Crossroads Apostolic Holiness Church, Bradley, with the Rev. Roger Frye and the Rev. David Christman officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
