Vernia Dean Webb

PRINCETON — Vernia Dean Webb, 87, of Princeton, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Arrangements by Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.

Tasha Wood

Tasha Wood, 30, of Coal City, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014.

Born February 24, 1984, she was the daughter of Sandra Dee Lawson and the late Rodger Haines.

Tasha was a loving wife and mother. She loved being outdoors, camping, swimming and being with her children.

In addition to her father, Tasha is preceded in death by her grandparents and may aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Melvin Wood; children, Raymond and Renee Wood; mother, Sandra Dee Lawson and a host of extended family and beloved friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Hotchkiss Church of God.

Alice Marie Zackoski

GAULEY BRIDGE — Alice Marie Zackoski, 84, of Big Creek Road, Gauley Bridge, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, following a long illness.

She was born January 21, 1930 at Big Creek, W.Va. Alice was the daughter of the late Edward Kuntz Teubert and Cecilia Lettie McMichen Teubert. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Teubert and Bobby Teubert

Alice was a retired office clerk for Union Carbide and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church of Chimney Corner.

She is survived by a son, Edwin Zackoski II and his wife Sherri; two brothers, Fred Teubert of Lewisburg and Joseph Edward Teubert of Marrietta, Ohio; four grandchildren, Cody, Brendan, Edwin and Eric.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Lovers Leap Baptist Church in Ansted with Pastor Ronald George officiating. Burial will follow in Teubert Cemetery at Big Creek near Chimney corner.

Friends may call from 12 noon until 2 p.m., Saturday at the church.
