Janie G. Goff
HARRISONBURG, Va. — Janie Geraline Goff, 77, of Harrisonburg, Va., passed away on March 8th, 2014. She was 77 years of age.
She was 5th of eleven children born March 15, 1936, daughter of Jesse and Minnie Eller Perdue. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Goff, brothers James, Frank, Edward, Bobby Perdue and sisters Billy Griffin and Juanita Meadows.
Janie was a head start teacher for over 20 years and a Walmart greeter for 5 years.
She loved playing bingo, going to church and singing.
Survivors include her three children, Douglas (Christina) Goff of Harrisonburg, Va., Darlene (Gramm) Stiles of Charlottesville, Va., John (Debbie) of Harrisonburg, Va., eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers Jessie, Alex Perdue; sisters, Dora McCoy and Jackie Johnson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 12th, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Earl Snuffer will be officiating. Janie will be laid to rest in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Charles W. Graham Jr.
Charles William Graham Jr. (C.W.) passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Born September 12, 1925, in Piedmont, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles William and Florence Graham.
He retired from the coal mines after 38 years and was a member of UMWA. C.W. was a faithful member of Mullens Church of God on Black Eagle Road and loved his church family. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, taking long walks around town, and reading his Bible.
In addition to his parents C.W. was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Betty Johnson Graham; children, Janice Neely and her husband, Gary, Jimmie Graham and his wife, Patty, and Rhonda Lusk and her husband, David, all of Beckley; grandchildren, Angela and Toney Bowles, Scott and Stephanie Neely, Andrea and Jeffrey Mullins, Lisa and John Quesenberry, Kelly and Mike Green, Carla and John Campbell, Christopher Lusk, and Heather Lusk; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.L. Riffe officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Butch Thorn, Jerry Wayne Thomas, Boyd England, Ronnie England, Todd Houck, and David Cox.
