Lacy E. ‘Bud’ Aliff III
FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. — Lacy E. “Bud” Aliff III, 64, of Fruitland Park, formerly of Sophia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.
Born October 20, 2012, in Pax, W.Va., to Bettie Lois Paschall Aliff and the late Lacy E. Aliff Jr.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janee Pitsenbarger and Jacqueline Lilly.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 32 years Jackie Aliff of Fruitland Park, Fla.; three sons, Doug Aliff and wife Ann from Charlotte, N.C., Mike Newman and Chuck Newman, both of Fruitland Park, Fla.; brother, Mike Aliff and wife Pat from Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Toni Byrge and husband Jim of Shady Spring; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Bud’s wishes he will be cremated and graveside services will be conducted at a later date by the family.

Riley Ernest ‘Rat’ Bryant
Riley Ernest “Rat” Bryant, 68, of Iaeger-Panther Road passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at the home of Eugene Reed in Hanover, where he resided.
Services will be noon on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in the Jeremiah House of Faith, Hanover, with Bro. Steve May officiating. Burial will follow in Charlie Williams Memorial Cemetery, Hanover.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the House of Gethsemane on the Iaeger–Panther Road and on Friday, September 28, 2012, after 5 p.m. in the Jeremiah House of Faith, Hanover.

Elizabeth Thorn Campbell
LIMA, Ohio — Elizabeth Alice Cottle Thorn Campbell, 91, passed away at 3:25 a.m., September 24, 2012, at the Lima Manor Nursing Home, Lima, Ohio.
She was born on September 12, 1921, in Fayetteville, W.Va., to William M. and Daisy I. Arthur Cottle, who have preceded her in death.
On February 4th of 1982, she married Alfred E. “Al” Campbell, who passed away on November 9, 1991.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church, Lima, and was a volunteer with the Lima Memorial Health System Auxiliary, since 1975. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Waynesfield, Ohio Lodge No. 273.
Survivors include three step-sons: Leonard D. Campbell, of Baneberry, Tenn., Marshall K. Campbell, of Elida, Ohio, and Paul W. Campbell, of Lima, Ohio; two step-daughters, Mary E. and Robert Roose, of Danese, W.Va., and Nelda K. and John Jolliff, of Casa Grande, Ariz.; many step-grandchildren; and many step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Thorn, who passed away on February 23, 1975; and a step-son, John W. Campbell.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Glen Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the Lima Memorial Health System Auxiliary.
Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, 350 West Maple Avenue, Fayetteville, will be assisting the family.
