Eula Patsy Stover Atha
Eula Patsy Stover Atha passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, after a long illness. Born February 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late French Patrick and Hazel Stover.
She was mother, homemaker, LPN and a graduate of the WV Tech Nursing Program in Montgomery, WV. Mrs. Atha enjoyed gardening, country music and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband Michael Atha; Sons Ira Collins, and Tim Collins; Daughter Patty Collins Jones; Son-in-law Marc Jones; two Grandchildren Tyler-Ray Fairthorne, and Rachel Fairthorne.
In addition to her parents, Eula is preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Stover, Buford Stover and Warren Harding Stover, and a daughter, Mary Jo Collins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

BRENTON — James E. Bailey, 56, of Brenton passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013.
A celebration of James’ life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Chapel of Calfee Funeral Service with the Rev. Wayne Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Shannon Family Cemetery in Baileysville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

ACCOVILLE — Sandra Jean “Sandy” Bailey, 57, of Accoville, died Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church at Bruno, with the Rev. Bill Cantrell and the Rev. Jackie Grimmett. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Godby Heights, Pecks Mill. Friends may gather with the family from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the church.
