COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bob Kimberlin, age 66, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.

Johnny Long, 81, of Coal City, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013.
Born February 16, 1932, at Fireco, W.Va., to the late Edith Roark Long and the late Richard Andy Long.
Johnny was a lifetime member of the UMWA and enjoyed the woods, going ginsanging, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles Michael Thomson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Selma Wood Long; daughters, Patricia Carol Harrah and husband, Barry of Coal City and Vicky Long of Coal City; a son, Ronald Long of Coal City; brothers, Kenneth Long and wife, Deloris of Great Falls, Mont., Marvin Long and wife, Athlene of Coal City, Richard Long and wife, Judy of Gold Hill, N.C. and William “Buddy” Long and wife, Patty of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Mary McGraw and husband, John of Fireco; two granddaughters, Melissa Dodson and husband, Norman of Coal City and Kimberly Long of Pemberton; two grandsons, James Thomson and wife, Jennifer of Daniels and Scott Long and wife, Jeannette of Fayetteville; great-granddaughters, Felicia Smallwood, Tori Thomson, Jessica Smallwood and Chelsey Long, Ivy Sesco; great-grandsons Chris Rife, Cody Rife, Johnathon Rife, Blake Thomson and Tobias Long; great-great-granddaughters, Skylar and AnnaBelle; great-great-grandsons, Peanut and Caytin; other family members, Angela Ruff and Emma Feijo, Joseph Fink, Colby Dameron; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Services to celebrate the life of Johnny Long will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Clarence Lee officiating. Following the services, Johnny will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family noon until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
