Billy Lester

William “Billy” Edward Lester, of Mabscott, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013.

Betty Mae Stuppio Linkous

SCARBRO — Betty Mae Stuppio Linkous, 76, of Scarbro, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at her home.

Born December 10, 1936, at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Rachel Sumner Stuppio.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Dennis Phillip Linkous; sister, JoAnn Grabosky and brothers, Rosario Stuppio and Robert Stuppio preceded her in death.

Survivors include four children, Seldon Linkous and wife, Amy, Jon Linkous and wife, Lisa, Teresa Sykes and husband, Matt and Tony Linkous; sister, Lula Cale; brother James Stuppio, seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with her wishes Mrs.Linkous was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rendia Plumley

Rendia Plumley, age 93, Shady Spring, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Arrangements are pending completion at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel, 729 Flat Top Road, Shady Spring.

Bruce Randles

Bruce Randles, 91, of Lewisburg, a native of the Coshocton area, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013.

There will be no funeral, as he donated his body to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Greenbrier County Public Library.

Debra Louise Hall Ritchie

Debra Louise Hall Ritchie, age 59 of Maple Meadow Mine Road, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born on September 21, 1954, in Pike County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late William Buford Hall and the late Janet Hall.

Debra was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Debra loved the beach, flowers, music, and spending time with her grandkids.

Debra was a retired nurse of 20 years.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Roger Ritchie Sr.; a daughter Staci Bratcher and her husband Cliff; a son, Roger Ritchie Jr. and his wife Rhonda; a sister Kathy Martin and her husband George; brothers, Tim Hall and his companion Ava Miller, Keith Hall and his wife Nikki.

Grandsons, Patrick Bratcher and his wife Erica, Thomas Bratcher, Alex Ritchie, Isaak Ritchie and Nicholas  Ritchie.

Granddaughters, Daysha Mills, and Reese Ritchie, and a great granddaughter Kaylyn Bratcher.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Cantley officiating. Burial will follow at the Pineview Cemetery at Orgas.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
