Michael W. Bauguess

Michael W. Bauguess, 45, of Shady Spring, completed his journey Thursday, October 11, 2012.

Born May 2, 1967, he was the son of David and Betty Bauguess.

Michael is preceded in death by his daughter, Alesha Bauguess.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, David and Betty Bauguess of Shady Spring; son, Michael Bauguess and wife Tiffany of Crab Orchard, daughter, Tonia Bauguess of Sophia; four grandchildren; sister, Melissa Bauguess of Richmond, Va.; brother, David Bauguess Jr. and wife Cynthia of Grottes, Va., and grandparent, Sylvia Fraley of Slab Fork.

Daniel Saylor Boyer

Daniel Saylor Boyer, 94 of Beaver, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Villages of Greystone.

Arrangements are incomplete at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton.


Alma Edith Coffman

MT. NEBO — Alma Edith Coffman, 84, of Mt. Nebo, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville, with Pastor Paul Looney officiating. Interment will follow in the Cox Cemetery of Birch River.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.

Diana Ann Murphy

FAYETTEVILLE — Diana Ann Murphy, 56, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

A celebration of her life will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, at the Grace Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with Pastor Delbert Walker officiating.

Leonard Lee Farley

MAPLEWOOD  — Leonard Lee Farley, 65, of Maplewood, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at his home.

Born January 7, 1947, at Kathryn, WV, he was the son of the late Athel C. (Doc) Farley and Lena Alice Berry Farley.

He was a member of the Original Holiness Church at Danese, pastored by Ray Hicks. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a recipient of a purple heart. He worked as a commercial roofer and was branch manager at Cyclone Roofing in Beckley.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by two brothers, John Caldwell Farley and Oscar Jordan Farley.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Ardena Farley, a son, Leonard Farley Jr. and his wife, Beverly Farley of Layland, a daughter, Alberta Hill and her husband, Charles Steven Hill of Maplewood, WV, four grandchildren, Stanley Todd Farley, Brian Farley, Kimberly Farley and Tina Farley, and one great grandson, Eli Farley, two brothers, Robert Farley and his wife, Nadine of Clarkston, MI, Larry Farley and his wife, Judy of Layland, three sisters, Dolores Berry of Maplewood, Margie Hatfield of Layland, and Sue Clay of Layland, along with many special nephews and nieces.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle with Brother Floyd Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Withrow Shuck Cemetery in Landisburg.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Farley Jr., Todd Farley, Brian Farley, Steve Hill, Jennings Berry Jr., and Greg Berry.
