God Gave Us An Angel

God gave us an angel right here on earth,

She taught us values and self worth.

She guided us through life with her wisdom, God’s light;

She steered us from wrong, and lead us toward the right.

She stood by our side when things were rough,

She taught us in bad times, we needed to be tough.

She was there when we needed her throughout all the years,

She laughed with us in happy times, and comforted our tears.

Our angel was sent from above,

God paid her not in wages, but with eternal love.

Now she has her halo and her silken wings of grace,

With the glory of God’s love shining upon her face.

She has been a confidante, our rock, and protector.

And although God said her job is through, we will never forget her.

Our Guardian angel, can be replaced by no other.

For she was God’s gift to us —We called her “Mother”
