FAYETTEVILLE — Terry Ray Brown, 56, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Born April 25, 1956, at Charleston, W.Va., the son of Raymond Edward Brown Sr. and Hazel Cotielle (Powers) Brown Basista.
Terry enjoyed working on cars and 4-wheelers. His pastime was watching NASCAR Racing and being with his pet cats, dogs, and horses.
Terry was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Kentucky Fuel Corporation.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents Burley and Rosa Powers; his Aunt Ellen Fleshman; and his Uncle Frankie Powers.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Raymond Edward Brown Sr. and his wife Lillian of Georgia and Hazel Cotielle Basista and her husband Joseph John Basista of Georgia; siblings Raymond Brown Jr. and his life partner Mike Render of Florida; Tonya Renee Keith and her companion Lou of Ohio, and Joseph Michael Basista and his wife Angie of Georgia; four nieces, one nephew, several cousins, many friends and his best friend for many years Rhonda Henson.
His remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1435 E. Main Street, Oak Hill, W.Va., 25901, where the funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Jackie Pittman officiating and where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
