Byron F. McClure

GLEN FORK — Byron F. McClure, 63, of Glen Fork, formerly of Maryville, Tenn., passed away Monday, April 29, 2013.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Donna Carol Perdue

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Donna Carol Perdue, age 57, of 1704 Franklin Street, Bluefield, died on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on February 7, 1956, in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late William Elcie and Betty Jo McComas.

She had lived in Bluefield for the past 10 years. She had worked at the Princeton Wal-Mart for the past 13 years. She was a member of the Bluefield Moose Lodge and was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Perdue.

Survivors include a special friend,  Donald Lockhart of Bluefield, W.Va.; and a brother, Michael McComas of Beckley.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, with Pastor Dean Adams officiating. Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell,  where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edith Grace (Rider) Pifer

RONCEVERTE — Edith Grace (Rider) Pifer, 80, of Ronceverte, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the May Chapel at Neola, with the Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of the service Friday at the church.

Charles Wayne Redden

MEADOW BRIDGE — Charles Wayne Redden, 54, of Meadow Bridge, passed away early Sunday morning, April 28, 2013, at his home on Beelick Knob, following a long illness.

Born Sept. 4, 1958, at Hinton, he was the son of Kirby and Carol Huffman Redden.

Charles was a self-employed mason by trade, and had also worked in the coal mines.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Holly Marie Patterson Redden of Meadow Bridge; three sons, Coalby Wayne Redden (wife, Samantha) of Layland, Travis Kirby Redden of Meadow Bridge, and Bryan MacKenzie Redden of Meadow Bridge; a sister, Debbie McDowelle of Charleston; three brothers, Kirby Redden Jr. of Surveyor, David Eugene Redden of Meadow Bridge and Stewart Van Redden of Meadow Bridge; and two granddaughters, Kensley and Karlee Redden.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel of Rainelle, with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service (from noon to 1 p.m.) at the funeral home.
