Mrs. Dora Cousin, 75, of Beckley, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, following a long illness.
Born September 28, 1937, in Lanark, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James Richard and Mary Sue Daniels Moore.
Mrs. Cousin was a member of Second Baptist Church, Beckley, and a retired dietitian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cousin; one brother, Abner; two sisters, Mary and Connie; and one grandson, Nathaniel Jr.
Those left to cherish precious memories are daughters, Doreen Moore and Annette (Henry) Burks, both of Lanark, WV; brother, James (Janie) Moore of Lanark, WV; sisters, Ollie Moore, and Joann Poole, both of Lanark, WV, Carolyn Crider of Brooklyn, NC, Betty Hughes of Cambria Heights, NY, and Patty Merritt of Durham, NC; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special friends, Dot, Dee Dee, and Thelma Jean; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Heart of God Ministries, 1703 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, with Rev. Nathaniel Carey and Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

PETERSTOWN — Lula Katherine Crawford Dillion, 89, of Peterstown, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, with Pastor Roger Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Broyles Cemetery, Lindside. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to the Springfield Center Activities Fund, Rt. 1 Box 101A, Lindside, WV 24951.
