Mary J. Bostic

PICKAWAY — Mary J. Bostic, 83, died Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Services will be  2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at the New Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Pickaway. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg.

Timothy Paul Bowes

Timothy Paul Bowes, 30, of Beckley, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, following a short illness.

Born Nov. 27, 1982, he was the son of Dwight “Ike” and Pamela Crane Bowes of Rupert.

He had been a Boy Scout and received an Eagle Scout Award in 2000. He was a 2001 graduate of Greenbrier West High School, where he was on the football, track and wrestling teams. He was a 2008 graduate of Concord University. He was employed by the Raleigh County Assessor’s office as a GIS mapper and analyst. He was the chairman of the Raleigh County GIS Committee. He was an avid sports fan which included NASCAR (especially Jeff Gordon), the New York Jets and WVU. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and visiting new places.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony, his maternal grandfather, Edward “Eddie” Crane, his paternal grandparents James “Jim” and Elizabeth “Sue” Huffman Bowes.

Besides his parents, he will be greatly missed by his fiancée Roseanna “Kelly” Robinson of Beckley and his maternal grandmother, Lillian Smith Crane of Rupert; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Big Clear Creek Baptist Church at Rupert, with Pastor Les Mullens officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may visit 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses or make a contribution to the charity of your choice in his honor.

McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg, is in charge of arrangements.
