Juanita Adams Barnett

CUB CREEK — Juanita Adams Barnett, 74, of Cub Creek, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.

Services celebrating the memory of Sister Juanita will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at the Brenton Baptist Church with her pastor Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. Following the service Juanita will be laid to rest in the Barnett Family Cemetery on Rock House Mountain. Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

William ‘Jimbo’ Bragg

FENTON, Mich. — William “Jimbo” Bragg, of Fenton, formerly of Rainelle, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Born October 16, 1941, at Claypool, he was the son of the late William Hazzard and Nellie Kaylor Bragg.

Jimbo had many interests which included hunting, rock collecting, gun collecting, wood working and helping family and friends with carpentry. He was a member of the Sewell Valley Baptist Church in Rainelle and Harmony Baptist Church of Burton, Mich.; the Atlanta, Michigan, Senior Center and the Grand Blanc Senior Citizens. Mr. Bragg was employed by GM, retiring in 1996 as a paint booth cleaner.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Cotton and Margie Long Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty Gillooley Bragg; a son James Bragg (Tammi) of Grand Blanc, Mich.; a daughter Theresa Hill (Scott) of Brimley, Mich.; two brothers, Donel Bragg (Charlene) of Swartz Creek, Mich., and Jackie Bragg (Vera); three sisters Betty Peters (Jim) of Burton, Bonnie Richmond of Meadow Creek and Rosetta McGuire (Alvin) of Meadow Bridge; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special nephews, Jimmie Crawley and J.W. Long; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, in the Sewell Valley Baptist Church, with Pastor Fred Fryar officiating. Burial will follow in the Claypool Cemetery at Meadow Bridge.

Friends may call two hours before the service from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
