Timmy Ray Blankenship

GILBERT — Timmy Ray Blankenship, 49, of Gilbert, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Isaban Church of God, Isaban, with the Rev. Tom File officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery, Isaban. Friends may gather with the family from 6 to 10 p.m. with a special service at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the church.

Edna Brackenrich

HINES — Edna Brackenrich, 96, of Hines died Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Eloise Kidd

Eloise Kidd, 73, of Beckley, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.

Sandra Kay (Shirey) Kulcsar

COLORA, Md. — Sandra Kay (Shirey) Kulcsar, 67, passed away at her home May 26, 2013, after a long illness with her husband by her side.

Born in Beckley, on April 26, 1946, Sandy was the daughter of Irene D. (Brooks) Renault of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Joseph D. Kulcsar.

She was a licensed cosmetologist and a devoted wife and mother. She served for several years as a volunteer working with her husband in the Baltimore Police Department and as the secretary of the Colora Civic Association. She loved birds, cats and her home and was known for her beautiful garden.

She and her husband Bert Shirey, who survives her, met when she was 15 and they were married July 3, 1965. She is also survived by her sister Joetta Winters of Vero Beach, Fla., and her brother Donald Kulcsar of Melbourne, Fla. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Elizabeth Kathleen, who died in 1997.

A service was held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, Md., on Friday, May 31, 2013, at 1 p.m. Burial took place in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora.
