You were a special person in every way

You will be missed each and every day

Your little laugh, your sweet smile

Will be with us all the while

You’re in Heaven now with your family to share

So often you talked of wanting to be there

God sent his angels to bring you to him

Can you hear the voices of the sweet seraphim?

One day we will be united, oh how sweet

The celebration in Heaven when we meet

But until then, your memories we’ll hold close

Never forgetting all the love you showed

And on your football night, when the Steelers play

Each touchdown made, we will call your name

We will hear your voice rising and see pom poms waving

And we will know that you are with us
