Phyllis Ray Walker Addair





MOUNT HOPE — Phyllis Ray Walker Addair, 72, of Mount Hope, W.Va., died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at CAMC-Memorial Division in Charleston, W.Va.

Born March 2, 1936, at Mount Hope, she was the daughter of Ella Montgomery Walker of Mount Hope and the late Herbert Walker.

Mrs. Addair was a member of the First Assembly of God, Mount Hope.

She was a homemaker and worked for Premix in Kingsville, Ohio.

Her husband, Ernest Addair; stepson, Lee Addair; and brother, Herbert Arnell Walker, preceded her in death.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Mike Markham and wife, Sue, of St. Louis, Mo.; stepdaughter, Tonya Addair Wolfe and husband, Mike, of Springfield, Mo.; brother, Omer “Buddy” Walker of Fayetteville, W.Va.; three sisters, Janice Crum of Jackson, Mich., Sharon Humphrey of Bradley and Patricia Harris of Covington, Va.; and four grandchildren, Tyler and Laura Markham and Ryan and Katie Wolfe.

Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at the First Assembly of God in Mount Hope with the Rev. Carl Harris and the Rev. Jesse Parker officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may call 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Randolph B. Adwell, 82, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, 2009.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Adwell Cemetery near Ronceverte.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, is serving the family.

HINTON — Cecile Irene Smith Angell, 98, of Madams Creek, Hinton, died Jan. 28, 2009, in the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center at Hilldale following a long illness.
