Arthur Ballengee

Arthur Ballengee, 81, of Bennett Mountain, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at his home.

Norma M. Bluhm

Norma M. Bluhm, 66, of Beckley, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley following a short illness.

Edith L. Bryant

FAYETTEVILLE — Edith Lucille Case Bryant, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at home following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 24, 1918, at Skyles, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Arminta Issabelle Doddrill Case.

Mrs. Bryant was a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Kermit Bryant; and her son, James Franklin Bryant.

Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter, Kelly R. and her husband, David C. Thompson, and their son, Joshua R. Thompson; two grandsons, Tracy J. and his wife, Marion, and Todd F. Bryant, all of Lincoln, Neb.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Pastor Ron George Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.

KEITH — Rose Ellen Coll-ins, 78, of Keith, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Sylvester. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville.

Jack Garretson

Jack Garretson, 62, of Shady Spring, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
