Patricia Faye Stover

Patricia Faye Stover, 71, of Dorothy, went home to be with the Lord following a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Born August 3, 1941, at Artie, she was the daughter of the late Lovell and Opal Maynor Griffith.

Patricia loved playing the piano and was a member of the Dorothy Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Stover Sr., and a son, Trent Stover.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Jackie Stover II and wife, Cami, of Dorothy and Stewart Stover of Dorothy; three grandchildren, Heath Stover, Nicholas Stover, both of Dorothy, and Lee Stover of Whitesville; three stepgrandchildren, Josh Dougherty, Adam Dougherty, and Heather Dougherty, all of Beckley; two brothers, Floyd Griffith and wife, Mary, and Glen Griffith and wife, Elizabeth, all of Michigan.

Services to celebrate the life of Patricia Faye Stover will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Roy Barnette officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Heath Stover, Nicholas Stover, Lee Stover, Paul Kinder, and Jearamie Furr will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
