WAYLAND, N.Y. — Rodney Dale ‘Smokie’ Morgan, 65, a native of Coal Mountain, died May 5, 2014.
Service will be noon on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, with the Rev. Gary Toler and Rev. Ravin Kenneda officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Yolanda Pryor, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
She was born in Florida, the daughter of the late Roosevelt T. Miles and Ruth R. Watkins.
Yolanda was a loving person that placed her focus on taking care of her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, Donald M. Pryor; children, Donald Pryor II, Brandi Pryor, Courtney Pryor, and one grandchild, all of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends from North Carolina, West Virginia, California, and Buffalo, New York.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd, Virginia Beach.
A visitation will take place Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

On Wednesday, May 7th, 2014, our most beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Elmond Walker of Crab Orchard passed away at the Bowers Hospice House. He was in his 76th year.
One of 13 children, Elmond was born on April 29th, 1938. He was the son of the late William and Francis Barefield Walker. His brothers, John Michael Davis, William Walker, Doug Walker, Edward Davis, and sisters, Frances Coffman, Eloise Copeland, Cora Salango and Jewell Miller have preceded him in death.
A lifelong coal miner, Elmond was a veteran of the US Army. He attended Haper Heights Missionary Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Helen; daughters, Chris Williams and her husband, Kevin of Murphy, Texas and Debbie Easter of St. Louis, Mo.; his step children, Brenda Shelton and her husband, Gary Grimes of MacArthur and Doug Ratclilff of Crab Orchard. There are eight grandchildren.
Elmond’s surviving sisters and brothers are Betty Wiley of Ravenna, Ohio, Kay Marlow of North Carolina, Denver Walker and his wife, Ginger of Indiana and Buford Davis and his wife, Pam of Daniels.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 10th at 1 p.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor James Johnson will be officiating. Elmond will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Pallbearers will be Steve, Johnny, and Chris Davis, Chase Lusk, Harless Adkins, David Walker and Dale Wooten.
