FAYETTEVILLE — Mary Frances McKnight Stokes, 56, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Pastor Bob Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at the Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek, W.Va.

Nancy Faye Thomas
OAK HILL — Nancy Faye Thomas, 61, of Oak Hill, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Raleigh General Hospital.
Born November 17, 1951 at Oak Hill, the daughter of William Ernest Rhodes and the late Marcelline Maxine Mullins Rhodes.
Nancy attended the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a sister Pamela Rhodes.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband James Edward “Roscoe” Thomas III, one daughter Shannon Dixon and husband Jason of Oak Hill, and one son James “Hard Rock” Thomas and wife Stacy of Oak Hill; two sisters Barbara Bell and husband Teddy of Oak Hill, and Peggy Davis of Beckley; and eight grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alexis, Brianna, Abbie, Katelynn, Brenna, Logan, and Skyler.
Her remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, where the funeral will be held 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Virgil Herron officiating, and where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
