Lisa was born on the 27th June, 1967, at Beckley. She was the daughter of Thomas Edward Cochran of Beckley and his fiancée, Ellen Allmon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Lilly Cochran, and her stepmother, Patty Basham Cochran, and an infant son, Michael Joseph Carroll, on Dec. 6th, 2000.

Lisa spent her childhood in Beckley; she was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Lisa furthered her studies at West Virginia Tech, graduating with a degree in computer science engineering. Lisa was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Lisa had a great concern for young people that were in a troubled time in their lives. She will be remembered for taking them into her home to help them “get on the right path.” As Ellen Allmon reflected, “Lisa was a diamond.”
