Edgar Stuart Kitchen

SUMMERSVILLE — Edgar Stuart Kitchen, 94, of Summersville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor David Lancaster officiating. Entombment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Calvin. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Lawrence Ashby Parker

Lawrence Asbury Parker, 87, of Barger Springs, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013.

Arrangements are pending with Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley.

Jennifer Michelle Wynes-Rowe

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Beloved Jennifer Michelle Wynes-Rowe, 30, of Newport News, Va., went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, November 11, 2013. 

Jennifer was born in Washington, DC, on December 17, 1982. The family moved back to Summers County soon after where she attended Talcott Elementary School, Summers County Middle School and graduated from Summers County High School.

Jennifer was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Golden Rule Chapter Seven Twelve of Hampton, Va.). She also operated Jenn’s Home Day Care and studied Criminal Justice at Strayer University.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving husband Arnist Samuel Rowe, son Montavious Tavaris Rowe and daughter Arnaejah Lehan Rowe of Newport News, Va., her parents William and Pamela Wynes and brother William Lee Wynes III of Lowell, W.Va., mother-in-law Wanda Collins, Fla., sister-in-law Thomacia Rowe and brother-in-law Daren Collins of Lakeland, Fla., and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton, with Reverend Gerry Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Talcott Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Following the service, food will be served to family and friends at the Second Baptist Church of Talcott.
