Brian Lee Avis

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Brian Lee Avis, 31, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Cleveland.

Born December 15, 1981, the son of Gary Lee Avis and Margaret Louise Hurt Avis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Gary Lee Avis and Margaret Louise Avis, children Domnia Underwood of Oak Hill, Justin Avis of Cleveland, and Jayden Avis of California; one brother Gary A. Avis of Cleveland.

His remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, where the funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.

Steven Lee Bryant

LOOKOUT — Steven Lee Bryant, 26, of Lookout, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013.

He was born June 12, 1987, in Summersville, W.Va., Steven was the son of Lawrence “Bo” Bryant and Carla Faye Petitt Bryant of Winona.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Charles Bryant and his maternal grandparents; Carl Petitt and Alice Petitt.

He was a member of Kenney’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church of Winona and a stocker for Wal-Mart of Fayetteville.

Steven’s survivors are his wife, Mindy Sue Halstead Bryant of Lookout, his son, Bryce Bryant at home; seven sisters, Lisa, Alexis, Jeannie, Tiffany, Christina, Kylee, and Katelyn all at home; a brother, Joshua Bryant of Winona; paternal grandmother, Betty Bryant of Winona.

Funeral service will be noon Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Kenney’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Winona, with Rev. Mark Secrist and Rev. Joe Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Family Cemetery on Flanagan Mountain in Winona.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Ansted.
