James W. Bailey

James W. Bailey, 87 of Naoma, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013.

In keeping with James’ final wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.

Rev. Robert I. Brown

Rev. Robert I. Brown, 71, of Beckley, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Arrangements entrusted to Ritchie and Johnson Funeral Parlor, Beckley.

Mollie Marie Dawson

Mollie Marie Dawson, 76, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 5, 2013, following a long illness.

Born September 6, 1936 in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Iva Mae Collie Lambert.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband Eugene Dawson, and seven brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Sue Nelson, and Genia Acord, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, her brother Ray Lambert, and her two sisters, Maxine Bowles, and Charlotte Murphy Huffman, and a host of nieces and nephews and beloved friends.

Services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with the Rev. Danny Bowles officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Hot Coal Cemetery.

Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Rosetta H. Gallaher

SUMMERSVILLE — Rosetta H. Gallaher, 93, of Summersville, formerly of Webster Springs, died Monday, May 6, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating. Interment will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral services.
