Allaine Arbaugh

Allaine Arbaugh, 85, of Raleigh, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.

Anna Mae Bailes

HURRICANE — Anna Mae Bailes, 89, of Hurricane, formerly of Keslers Cross Lanes, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the White Funeral Home at Summersville. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at that time and proceed to the gravesite at Calvin.

FOREST HILL — James H. Blume Sr., 79, of Forest Hill died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.

Arrangements are pending completion at Pivont Funeral Home, Hinton.

William Cammack Campbell

LEWISBURG — William Cammack Campbell, 90, of Lewisburg died Aug. 30, 2013.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at The Old Stone Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, with the Rev. J. Dexter Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be sent to the Cammack Children Center, Huntington, or The West Virginia Golf Association’s William C. Campbell Scholarship Fund.

Charles Robert Canfield Sr.

LEWISBURG — Charles Robert Canfield, Sr., 87, of Lewisburg passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.

Robert was in the lumber industry as a truck driver and enjoyed being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Born September 17, 1925, in Sutton, he was the son of the late Walter Lee and Ersie Marie Crites Canfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Ruby and Gussie and one brother Edward.

Survivors include 5 daughters: Linda Morgan of Fairlea, Edith Poe of Sevierville, Tennessee, Roberta Lilly of Renick, Wanda Reed of Lewisburg and Tena Criner of Lewisburg; 4 sons: Averal Lee of Maxwelton, Charles Robert, Jr., of Lewisburg, James of Lewisburg and Christopher of Flat Top; 2 sisters, Clara Vest of Alderson and Glendora Clark of Texas; 1 brother, Harry William of Flower; 36 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be at noon on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the Holy Word Assembly of God in Fairlea, with Pastor Loretta Boggs officiating.
