Stefanie Ann Hoover Lewis

Stefanie Ann Hoover Lewis, 45, of Helen, went home to her mansion in Heaven on Saturday, October 27, 2012, following a short illness.

She was a member of Helen Baptist Church.

Born December 19, 1966, in Chicago, Ill., and raised in Rhodell, W.Va., she was a loyal, loving and devoted wife and mother of two sons, whom she was very proud of.

Stefanie was married to Bill Merritt Lewis, and resided in Helen. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend, with a heart of gold. Always full of love and happiness, Stef was loved by everyone especially her family and friends.

Stefanie enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a special place in her heart for everyone and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She had touched so many lives during her time on Earth that her departure will surely leave an emptiness in our hearts. As we mourn the loss of our wife, mother, family member and friend, we have peace in knowing Stef is now a beautiful angel in Heaven where she suffers no more.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Merritt Lewis; two sons, Bill Lewis of Pineville, W.Va., and Aaron Lewis of Morgantown, W.Va., and a host of friends and family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stefanie was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Carolyn Hoover, of Rhodell, and is survived by her brother, Scott Hoover.

A Celebration of Stefanie’s life will be held at Melton Mortuary, 1200 Harper Road, on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Danny Lusk officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, in Prosperity.

Condolences may be sent to the family’s guestbook at www.meltonmortuary.com.

Arrangements by Melton Mortuary, Inc., Beckley.
