Ronald Gene Baker, 72, of the Bowling Addition, Beckley, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Melton Mortuary Cha-pel. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour.

Arlena Nadine Wright Carey
On Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, Arlena Nadine Wright Carey, 59, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord.
Born July 27, 1954, in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late James Otis Wright Sr. and Selena Wright.
Nadine was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Temple; she attended Stratton High School. She was loved by all her friends and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Carey; a brother, James Otis “Butch” Wright Jr.; and a sister, Deborah Wright.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Selena (Nikki) Wright, Chermette Wright and Teruka Carey; six grandchildren, Charviea and T’Dajah Wright, Tijah, Kevin and Ji’Haud Carey and Alani Love Lowery; a brother, Bernard Amar, and three sisters, Vernita (Vicky) Laster (Bill), Lonella Leach (Rev. Walter Leach) and Cynthia Ann Thomas (T); two special children, Keisha Leach and Walter Leach Jr.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Baptist Temple, 129 Rice Street, Beckley, 12 noon on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service. Rev. Walter Leach and Bishop Fred T. Simms will officiate.
