Kaimyn M. Anderson
MULLENS — Kaimyn Michael Anderson, 12, of Mullens, was ushered into Heaven by Angels on Friday, September 6, 2013.
Born June 13, 2001, at Beckley, he was the son of Chrystal McKinney Anderson of Mullens and Michael James Anderson, Jr., of Beckley.
Kaimyn was a 6th-grade student at Mullens Middle School. He was actively involved in football and basketball where he played for the Mullens Football League and was looking forward to his first basketball game on Tuesday for Mullens Middle School. He had previously played baseball and last year was a member of the Mullens All-Star Baseball Team that played in the State Baseball Tournament in Moorefield. He also played for the East Warriors AAU Basketball Team and Kaimyn was an avid Miami Heat fan.
K-Man always prefered and proudly wore the number 13 on all his sports jerseys.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Chrystal McKinney Anderson and her fiancé, Herbie Brooks of Mullens; his father, Michael James Anderson, Jr., and his wife, Kelli, of Beckley; a sister, Kyrsha Anderson at home; his maternal grandparents, Hayden and Louise McKinney of Corinne; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Rezetta Anderson of Beckley; two half sisters, Erin Anderson of South Carolina and Brooke Holmes of Florida; two half brothers, Braxton Berry and Blake Penn both of Beckley; three stepsisters, Neriah Galloway, Kennedi Galloway, and Baylee Brooks all of Beckley; and Derek Brooks of Mullens and Kelsey Brooks of Beckley; an aunt, Sonya Williams and her husband, Denny, of Corinne; close cousins, Garrick and Gary Weaver of Corinne, aunts, Melissa Gill of Beckley, Dorothy Tabor of Reidsville, NC, and Lisa Anderson Bandy of Murfreesboro, TN; uncles, Shawn Anderson and Brandon Anderson both of Beckley; and a host of other family. Kaimyn also leaves behind many friends and sports buddies whom he will miss playing and spending time with.
When we pause to remember Kaimyn we shall remember his love for all sports, his polite, kind nature, his sense of humor, and his friendly smile he showed to all of us!
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gilbert Dodson officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

ATHENS — Linda Elaine Pettrey Coburn, 63, of Athens, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, with Pastor Eddie Pettrey officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lindside. Friends may call from noon until time of services.

Lucile Elizabeth Shepherd Duncan
OAK HILL — Lucile Elizabeth Shepherd Duncan, age 89, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away at the home of her daughter and care giver Rita Toler on Saturday, September 7, 2013, after a long illness.
Born February 29, 1924, at Prudence, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Essie Hazel Burdette Shepherd.
Lucile was a cook for the Fayette County School System and was also a former telephone operator.
She was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene since 1952. She served the church as a Board member, Sunday School Teacher and Missionary Society. She was a 1941 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a member of P.E.I.A.
Lucile was preceded in death by her husband, Joe P. Duncan, by a son Joe P. Duncan, Jr., by three brothers, Frank J. Shepherd, William L. Shepherd and Charles Shepherd.
Surviving are her son, Randy Duncan and wife Karen of Oak Hill, two daughters, Rita Toler and her husband Ray of Oak Hill and Barbara Kincaid of Beckley, a sister, Eunice Wheeler of Beckley, and an uncle, Howard Snodgrass of St. Albans, WV. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jerry Bush and Pastor Mike Angelona officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2013, and at church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Wayne Dell Facello
Wayne Dell Facello passed away September 6, 2013, at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
Born October 21, 1943, at Maple Fork, he was the son of the late James and Goldie Lovelace Facello.
A 1961 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant with one year tour of duty in Germany. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, MD, for 10 years. He returned to West Virginia where he was employed by Consolidated Coal Company and WV Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator.
He courageously fought many illnesses since his disability retirement in 1993 and underwent a heart transplant at Duke University in 2002.
Wayne was a member of the Calloway Heights Baptist Church, Beckley, where he served as usher and formerly a member and Deacon of New Prospect Baptist Church, Sweeneysburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ernest, Henry, Ron, Bob, and Kenny Facello.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Daphnia Jean Holliday Facello, and two sons, Dr. David Wayne Facello of Charleston and James Shanda Hutchison and wife, Kedron, of Beckley, and their daughter, Keira. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Dorothy Holliday of Fayetteville; four brothers, Frank (Jr.) of Maple Fork and Charles, Johnny, and Roger Facello of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Phyllis Jean Kinder of Norfolk, VA, and Jo Ann Mira of Oak Hill.
Services to celebrate the life of Wayne Dell Facello will be held 1 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Calloway Heights Baptist Church, Beckley, with Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Following the services, Wayne will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

William ‘Bill’ Henry Ford
UNION — William “Bill” Henry Ford, 72, of Union, WV, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown following a long battle with emphysema and cancer.
He was born at Roxboro, NC, June 30, 1941, a son of the late David and Elizabeth Loftis Ford.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Elaine Briggs, and a brother, Robert Eddie Ford.
Mr. Ford retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways where he was a construction inspector and permits supervisor; he was formerly employed as a supervisor at Kellwood Company and B.F. Goodrich.
He was instrumental in starting and helping build the first Southern Baptist Church in Union and he was a member and Deacon at Victory Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish Bill’s memory include his wife of 42 years, Wanda Dunbar Ford of Union; 5 children, Melinda Gail Ford of Union, Anthony Wayne Ford and wife, Jennifer, of Salem, Va., David Ford of Anderson, SC, Lynn Ford Tuck and Mary Chambers both of Hurdle Mills, NC; a brother, Carlton Ford and wife, Betty, of Roxboro, NC; a sister, Annie Hatcher of Chase City, Va.; 3 grandchildren, Terron Ford of Union, Augusta and Asher Ford of Salem, VA.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV, with Rev. Todd Baker officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery at Union, WV.

Christopher ‘Bryan’ Tilley
OAK HILL — Christopher “Bryan” Tilley, 36, of Oak Hill, formerly of Glen Rogers, received his walking shoes to walk in Heaven with the Lord, on Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Hilltop Center, following a lifelong illness.
Born August 6, 1977, in Beckley, he was the son of Michael and Sharon Thompson Tilley of Glen Rogers.
Bryan was dearly loved by his family. He was never able to do the things on this Earth, as we do every day, but now he is walking, talking, and eating at the Master’s Table.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Arnold “Abe” and Georgia Canada Tilley, and Robert Thompson and Jeanette Thompson Hill.
In addition to his parents he is survived by 2 brothers Michael Tilley and his wife Nikki of Lynco, Andrew Tilley and his wife April of Cool Ridge; One sister Cassandra Tilley and her fiancé John Robert Boyden III of Beckley, his nephews Nick, Ryan, Nathan, Erick, and Aaron, his nieces Kaitlyn, Megan, and Allie, and a host of beloved family and friends.
The family would like to thank Sue, Judy, Jo, Pam and all of the staff of Hilltop Center, for the loving care they showed Bryan.
Services celebrating Bryan’s Life will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Hurd officiating.
