Jimmy Dow Bragg

SUMMERSVILLE — Jimmy Dow Bragg, 66, of Summersville, died Friday, August 16, 2013.

Graveside services will be held noon on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in the Taylor Family Cemetery at Williams River with Vaden Young officiating.

Harold Ray Casino

NAOMA — Harold Ray Casino, of Naoma, with his loving wife Terri Lee Runion Casino and his dearest friends Jimmy and Lynn Ratliff of Layland by his side, left his earthly home and has no more pain and suffering on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 9:30 p.m. at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division.

Born January 23, 1962, at Charleston W.Va., he was the only son of Ray and Verna Casino of Naoma. He was a 1981 graduate of Marsh Fork High School and was a welder with Mountaineer Resources until he was disabled in 2009 from a heart attack. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping but he was the happiest when he was riding his 4 wheeler with his wife and friends in the mountains.

Besides his wife and parents Harold is survived by two daughters, Leigh Rian Richmond (Anthony, USMC retired) of Ft. Seybert, W.Va.; Ashley Meagan Casino and son Dustin Allen Casino, both of Independence, Va. Five grandchildren; Amber Renee, Autum Lei, Kayleigh Marie and Kaden Anthony Richmond of Ft. Seybert, W.Va. and Emma Jade Testerman of Independence, Va. Two step daughters, Gayle Combs (Wesley) of Harrisonburg, Va. and Meghan Evick of Fairmont, W.Va. and one step grandson, Easton Riley Combs of Harrisonburg, Va. A “special daughter” Anna Maria Calabrese of Charleston.

He is also survived by two sisters, Loriann McFalls (David) of Naoma and Sherry Boggess ( Joe Eddie) of Dameron. His In-Laws Terry “Farmer” and Janet Runion of Charleston. Three nephews; David Lee McFalls (Maggie) of Sylvester; Kevin Ryan Cantley and Bryson Allen McFalls of Naoma and a niece April Dawn Campbell of Cross Lanes. A “special cousin” Don Gay of Charleston.

He was known simply as “H” to his special little cousins Trever and Tyler Cook and Taylor and Tara Massey all of Dry Creek and was “Papaw” to Walker and Clayton Williams of Clear Creek.

Also survived by his Uncle Charles Brown (Janet) of Dry Creek. His aunts, Lora Jane Bartrum (Larry) of Dry Creek, Louella Jones of Las Vegas and Jan Brown of Sundial, and a host of other family and friends.

Harold loved the outdoors and never wanted to be inside. He was known for his laughter and having fun. He loved to party and hated to dress up. Therefore, instead of a service and in keeping with his request the family invites you to attend a casual dress celebration of his life on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at The Pavillion, 1400 Stephens Lake Road, Surveyor, W.Va. In lieu of flowers the family request that you bring a covered dish.

At his request, Harold will be cremated then laid to rest with his wife when the time comes in the Lasley Family Cemetery, Artie, W.Va.
