Forrest Lee Bragg, better known as “Moose” 51, of Ansted, passed away, Monday, May 27, 2013, following a short illness.
Wallace & Wallace of Ansted, is in charge of the arrangements.
Richard Bainbridge, 69, of Dry Creek, WV, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Beckley VA Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born September 13, 1944, to the late William and Mary Bainbridge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Simpson Bainbridge, and a sister, Joan Deana Kay.
Richard was an antenna and radio repairman in the U.S. Army, and worked as a mechanic for the Allstate Septic Service and Liqui-Sol, LLC, until his accident.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Brian Bainbridge; daughters, Michelle Thompson and Angela Bainbridge all of Virginia and Tabitha Henson and husband, John, of Maryland; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a very dear friend, Henry Buzzard of Dry Creek.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Larry Kinder officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, with Military Honors provided by the Beckley American Legion Post No. 32.
Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ronald W. ‘Ron’ Cruise
RAINELLE — Ronald W. “Ron” Cruise, 62, of Rainelle, W.Va., passed away early Friday morning, May 24, 2013, at his home, following a short illness.
Born Sept. 25, 1950, at Rainelle, he was the son of the late Aubrey Donald Cruise, and Edith E. Cruise of Rainelle.
Ron loved the outdoors, gardening and his woodworking. He had retired from Appalachian Power Company as a supervisor in 1996 after 21 years of service, and was currently an associate for Fisher’s Auto Parts in Rainelle.
Survivors include his only daughter, Lorraine F. Guinan (Mike) of Chuluota, Fla.; mother, Edith E. Amick Cruise of Rainelle; three grandchildren: Leila Foster, Shannon Guard (Matthew) and T.J. Crawford Jr.; and four great-grandchildren: Aiden William Pardo, Cohen James Pardo, Emma Jean Guard and Cisco Torres.
Friends and family may gather Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Wallace and Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, to visit and support the immediate family from 6 to 7 p.m.
