PETERSTOWN — Walter Hensley Bennett, 72, of Peterstown, died Sunday, March 24, 2013.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, with Pastor Dave Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery, Bozoo. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Arthenia Gladys Gwinn Heaster
FINCASTLE, Va. — Arthenia Gladys Gwinn Heaster, 89, formerly of Sam Black, passed away at her home in Fincastle, Virginia, on Friday, March 29, 2013.
Born September 23, 1923, at Meadow Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Georgia Vandall Gwinn.
Arthenia was a homemaker and a member of the Sam Black United Methodist Church where she attended faithfully until she moved to Fincastle where she attended Eagle Rock Baptist Church. She loved to quilt and work in her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harlis G. (Bill) Heaster on July 23, 2003; 2 brothers Lovell and Eugene Gwinn, both of Meadow Bridge; 4 sisters Christina Gwinn, Faye Adkins, Daphene Dixon and Stacy Ennis; and 1 son-in-law Granville C. Hunter.
Survivors include 1 son William Harlis (Bill) and wife Shirley of Electra, Texas; 4 daughters Betty C. Hunter of Kieffer, Shirlie Graley and husband Charlie of Hurricane, Karen Gordon and husband Neil of Shiatook, Oklahoma, and Remonia Thomas and husband Gerald of Fincastle, Virginia; 3 brothers Gilmer Gwinn and wife Ilene, Elzia Gwinn and wife Louise, all of Meadow Bridge, and Lowell Gwinn of Lindside; 2 sisters Georgetta Harrah of Meadow Creek and Gathalee Lafferty and husband Roger of Princeton; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Smathers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Billy Ronk officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville.
Friends may call Monday, April 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
