Harold Lee Guilliams

HINES — Harold Lee Guilliams, 66, of Hines, passed away Feb. 21, 2014.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Union Mission Church at Hines, with Pastors Gary Eisenman, Bill Cruse and Delmas Beavers officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Dorothy Lee Hargis

Dorothy Lee Hargis, age 83 of Stanaford, passed away at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

Born on July 31, 1930, at Fireco, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Clark and Violet Southern Clark.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Coal City Church of God.

Mrs. Hargis was preceded in death by her husband J.L. Hargis, by brothers, Edgar Clark II, Floyd Clark, Lloyd Clark, and David Smith, and by a sister  Lottie Mae Clark.

Survivors include her half sister, Diane Stowers and her husband Carl of Stanaford.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Bill Prunest officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity.

Friends may visit with the family from  6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Becker Jr., Timothy Becker Jr., Joseph John Becker IV., Andrew Blankenship, Marvin Lucas, Denny Tyree, and Timothy Holstein.
