Jason David Arthur
Jason David Arthur, age 30, of Grandview, WV, passed away at his home on Friday, July 12, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 19, 1982, in Beckley, he was the son of Rudy Arthur and Patricia Scott Arthur of Grandview.
Jason was an employee of the Shady Spring Public Service District as a lineman. He was a member of the Grandview Christian Church, and had been a lifelong resident of Grandview. Jason was a graduate of Shady Spring High School. He was the “world’s best talker.”
Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Ruth Scott, and by his paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Peggy Arthur.
Surviving are his wife Felicia Raines Arthur, Two children, Natalie and Kinsey Arthur, both at home. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins are also among his survivors.
A memorial service will be conducted to Celebrate The Life Of Jason David Arthur on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Grandview Christian Church at 3 p.m. with Pastor Terry Newton officiating.
Friends may visit with the family at the church from 2 p.m. until service time on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the purpose of caring for Jason’s and Felicia’s children.

Madeline Estepp Bailey
FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Madeline Estepp Bailey passed away peacefully at Fairhope, on June 14, 2013, at the age of 59. She was surrounded by the love of her three children when she left this earth.
Madeline is predeceased by mother Hazel Griffey, father Robert Estepp Sr. and her grandson Tristan Long.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Taylor Hurley of Logan, W.Va., Heather and husband Tony Medaris of Elberta, Ala., son Pat and wife Marcy Long of Denton, Texas; nieces and nephews, Shannon and Chris Ward of Oceana, W.Va., Brian and Misty Cline of Parkersburg, W.Va., Jonathan Pritt of Beckley, Amber Estepp of Glen Fork, W.Va., Robert Estepp of El Paso, Texas; her brother Martin and wife Nancy Estepp of Glen Fork, W.Va., and her sister Cheryl and husband John Pritt of Oceana, W.Va. She was the proud grandmother to her five grandbabies as well.
Madeline was born in Oceana on December 9, 1953. She graduated from Oceana High School in 1971 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Concord University in 2011. Many know her from her work as a substitute teacher in Wyoming County and from her time working at McDonald’s in Oceana. Madeline was very fond of all her students and loved teaching.
Madeline was an incredible person and loved spending time with her grandbabies, as well as her friends and family. She also enjoyed gardening and reading.
At Madeline’s request a memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Matheny on July 27, 2013, at 1 p.m.
