Mabel Ann Maynor Williams
Mabel Ann Maynor Williams, age 61, of Toney’s Fork Road in Clear Creek, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2013, at her home.
Born June 17, 1951, at Long Branch, W.Va., a daughter to the late Ross Edward and Della Jane Williams Maynor. Also preceding her in death are a granddaughter, Breanna Williams; brothers, Alfin Carl Maynor and Gary Cecil Maynor.
Mabel was a loving caregiver to many. She enjoyed quilting and doing crafts. She attended Ewing Creek Church since 1976 where she has been very active. Mabel also taught Sunday School, helped with the Veterans Day Service, youth rally, and also Bible School. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to many.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 41 years, Dennis Williams; sons, Danny Williams of Clear Creek and Donny Williams and wife Paula of Pax; grandchildren, Chrystal Williams, Matthew Paul, and Kara Ann Williams, Jesse, who was like a son, and his wife Rickelle Harding and sons Jesse II and Troy Harding of Lester; brothers, Raymond Maynor of Mossy, Sanford Maynor and wife Mary Lou of Dry Hill Road; sisters, Ethel P. Flint of Beckley, Gloria J. Crew and husband Willis of Stanaford Road, Margaret L. Wines of Pax, Florabelle Wines and Husband Herman of Pax; as well as aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews and of course a host of friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Mabel Williams will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Ewing Creek Church in Clear Creek, with Pastor Loretta Taylor and Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Ewing Creek Cemetery at Toney’s Fork.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ewing Creek Church.

Patricia Ann Wright, 55, of Beckley, died Saturday, March 23, 2013.
