June O. Marshall
On March 26, 2013, June Oneida Marshall, of Helen, entered Heaven’s gates.
Born September 24, 1930, at Otsego. She was the second of three daughters born to the late Dewey Marshall and Laura Tobler Marshall. June grew up at Otsego and was a graduate of Mullens High School.
She was a longtime Christian and she faithfully attended Helen Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Recie Miller and Mae Booker, and her brother-in-law, Jack Booker. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Laura (Stevie) Williams and her husband, Harry, with whom she made her home; a grandson, Robert (Kim) of Beckley; a granddaughter, Lori Brammer (Waylon) of Helen; great-grandson, Jason; brother-in-law, Thurman Miller; and her special baby, her beloved pet “Yuchi”; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Danny Lusk officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of the service. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Shirley A. Mullins
Shirley Ann Mullins, 75, formerly of Itmann, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Princeton Health Care, following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born February 14, 1938, at Dott, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Billings Graham.
Shirley was a homemaker and was a member of Herndon Freewill Baptist Church. In her leisure she enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time at Moncove Lake with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Mullins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Sheila Bowers Johnson and her husband, Randy, of Barger Springs, Willie (Bill) Mullins Jr. of Pipestem, Linda Austin of Princeton, Carla Lane and her husband, Ricky, of Fairdale, and Shelma Justice and her husband, John Doran, of Sophia; five sisters; seven brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. William O. Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Lane, Matt Lane, Brandon Justice, J.J. Justice, Dusty Cantley, and John Doran.
