Timothy Allen Tincher
CRAG — Timothy Allen Tincher, 57, of Crag, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in the Charleston Area Medical Center, following a long illness.
Born September 19, 1955, at Crag, he was the son of Ethel Miller Tincher of Crag and the late Howard Tincher.
Timmy was a self-employed carpenter and was a loving caregiver to his mother and his brother, Jimmy. He did crossword puzzles in ink as a way to relax in the evenings.
In addition to his mother Ethel and his brother Jimmy, both of Crag, he is survived by brothers Jeff of Crag and Randy Tincher and wife Rita of Rainelle; his sisters Vada Clay and husband Ray of Meadow Bridge and Robin McQuain and husband Butch of Rainelle; his companion Edith (Toby) Sproles of Rainelle; six nieces and three nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Smathers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Whisman officiating. Burial will follow in the Tincher Cemetery at Crag.
Friends may call one hour before the service from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Albert Lincoln Wilfong
DUNMORE — Albert Lincoln Wilfong, 86, of Dunmore, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the University Of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Born December 20, 1926, at Dunmore, and was a son of the late Charles and Orpha Lindsay Wilfong. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother Charles William Wilfong.
Albert was a lifelong livestock farmer who truly enjoyed the hard work that was involved with farming. He was also an avid turkey hunter throughout his life. He served on the Pocahontas County Commission 1984-1990. He was a 70-year member of Farm Bureau. He was also a longtime member of the WV Cattlemens, WV Shepherds Federation, and National Wild Turkey Federation. He has served several terms as a board member of the Pocahontas Producers Livestock Market. Over the years Albert received many honors for his farming work 1947 WV FFA Star Farmer, 1960 WV FFA Established Farmer, 1965 Statewide Winner of Farming for Better Living Award, 1974 National Efficiency Award for Sheep Production, 1979 Master Farmer Award, 1995 Inducted into WV Ag & Forestry Hall of Fame, and 2001 WV Farm Bureau Distinguished Service Award.
Albert’s religious faith has always been his foundation and he regularly attended the New Hope Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include his wife Helen Jackson Wilfong, sister, Ruth Horner, three children, Shirley Wilkins and husband Jack of Hillsboro, Charles Wilfong and wife Linda, and Patricia Wilfong, all of Dunmore; six grandchildren, Susan Wilkins, Jonathan Wilkins of Hillsboro, Sarah (Wilkins) Brown and husband Lee of Woodrow, Nicole (Wilfong) Sattler and husband Silas, Kristine (Wilfong) Sharp and husband Arthur, and Charles Albert Wilfong II, all of Dunmore, and two great-grandchildren, Trey Sattler and Noah Sharp.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the New Hope Church of the Brethren in Dunmore, with Rev. David Rittenhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wesley Chapel Road.
Viewing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
