GILBERT — James “Jim” Hatfield, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Highland Memory Garden, Godby Heights, with the Rev. Doug Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel.

EDEN, N.C. — James E. “Bo” Hylton, of Eden, formerly of Ballard, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Ballard Baptist Church Cemetery in Ballard.

TALCOTT — Craig Brandon Kirkham, 34, of Talcott, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Cecil ‘Bee’ Boyd Sears Jr.
Cecil “Bee” Boyd Sears Jr., 79, of Midway, departed this life to forever praise his Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, following a long illness.
Born January 2, 1935, in Sophia, he was the son of the late Cecil and Melvinie Polk Sears.
Mr. Sears was a U.S. Army Veteran as well as a retired coal miner. Bee also had a great love for gardening and hunting. He had a lovable personality and a way of picking on others that has made many buddies over the years. Above all Bee was of the Pentecostal faith and loved to read God’s word and shout Praises to his Lord.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Willa JoAnn Sears; a daughter, Robin Russell and her husband, Don, of Crab Orchard; a brother, Roger Lee Sears of North Carolina; a sister, Este Croft of Cleveland, Ohio; several “adopted” grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; two special nephews, Steven Wyatt and David Ward.
A memorial of his life will held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at the Glen White Church of God with Bishop Jesse Farley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.
The family would also like to thank the staff of Hospice for the great care provided.
